He has earned a B.A. degree from Montclair State College, majoring in music theory and composition, as well as in music education. In addition to guitar, Louis performs on pedal steel, banjo, harmonica, dobro and vocals. He has worked with a diverse collection of musical acts, including general bar work, NYC orchestral pit work, various recordings/sessions, film scores, weddings, commercials, video game submissions, Elvis and Hank Williams Jr. impersonators, as an arranger & orchestrator, as well as being a published composer, music producer and recording engineer. He is known as the player to call for those last minute emergency gigs, to get the job done. On the business end, Louis has represented musical acts as a booking agent and as an artist manager & promoter. He has had the pleasure of working with the great Stephen Schwartz as a guitarist, vocalist and contributing arranger for the 30th anniversary revival of “Godspell”. Louis has also spent time on the road, residing in Nashville, and has opened for national acts, including Emmylou Harris and Waylon Jennings. Currently, Louis has been active as a film & television composer, with credits including E! Entertainment, Discovery, Biography and Harpo, as well as an instructor of guitar at Bergen Community College in Paramus, N.J.
